My Labor Day

It rained all morning and part of the afternoon, so there isn't a suffocating heat in Fort Worth today.

I'm sitting outside on our balcony, sipping coffee and taking in the Cubs game, a big divisional game (and series) against Milwaukee.

Sarah is inside practicing flute, working on a piece I just completed for her called "...cry to Thee..." that she will premier on her recital next week.

My youngest is outside with me, building with legos.

My oldest is home from college for the weekend, and has been telling us all about his first week of classes, auditions, rehearsals and new friends.

It's been a nice labor day.
