Story
I. March II. Meditation III. Metamorphosis SOJOURN basically describes a spiritual journey. Beginning with a pompous and arrogant "March," continuing through a "Meditation," or prayer, asking God 'Why?' The piece ends with a "Metamorphosis," the change into something new. Themes recur throughout the three movements. An extended solo for Alto Saxophone occurs in the second movement. SOJOURN was part of my doctoral dissertation, and I was selected by composer Mark Camphouse to be part of the 2006 Young Composer Mentor Project, where "Meditation" was performed and recorded.
**This is a Three-Movement set, movements are not sold individually.
